  • You fix the email manually.
  • But the workflow doesn’t restart. 😩

Yeah. Annoying.

HighLevel doesn’t currently auto-re-enroll contacts after you update an email. So what now?

Pro Workaround

This is where Mario flexed his genius. Here’s how to build a workaround using branch logic + smart tagging.

🔁 Step-by-Step:

  1. Add a tag like “bad email” when a bounce happens.
  2. Use “If/Else” branches to check if the contact still has that tag.
  3. Route them into a new email path (once the email is corrected).
  4. Remove the “bad email” tag once they’ve been re-engaged.

Pro Tip: You’ll still need to manually update the email address, but this setup ensures your sequences can pick up right where they left off.
